It is less than twelve months since Changi Airport Group went operational with the Redkite Competence Management System which is now used on a daily basis throughout CAG AES - 500+ personnel at 8 aerodromes throughout Singapore: four military, one helicopter base, a specialist Sea Rescue Base and two civilian airfields, including the world leading Changi International Airport. Using Redkite, CAG AES has moved from a time consuming paper based training system to a fully automated, paperless, electronic maintenance of competence system using a competence framework, developed with the help of my good friend Peter NcMahon. Redkite has empowered CAG AES to create customised role profiles to meet the varied competence requirements specific to the many roles at their mix of aerodromes and Redkite manages this complex array of refresher training and workplace assessment reminders to ensure competence is maintained. Redkite also manages the delivery of over 120 focussed e-learning packages to match profiles of groups and individuals throughout CAG AES. Redkite's inherent flexibility has also enabled CAG AES to design and deliver their own assessment and learning material.
