Since we acquired the EMS some 6 years ago it has successfully organised our periodic Inspection & Maintenanceregime providing a wealth of historical information that is available to all users. To the future we are looking to
expand the potential of the database into a fully pledged asset management system incorporating the
Electrical Test Register and a vast quantity of miscellaneous equipment. In particular we will log those items of
high value such as portable and non-portable IT equipment that is used by office and roaming staff. Access and
training will be expanded to all non-uniformed staff to enable them to regularly record periodic maintenance.
Additionally, over the next months, it is proposed to include all hydrant management via the Redkite EMS system.
Redkite Systems has given us full support to requests of software tweaks to our specific needs.
